Once again, Councilman Bobby Henon is offering two scholarships to 6th District residents interested in participating in the Philadelphia City Planning Commission’s Citizens Planning Institute (CPI). A great educational and community-building program, CPI teaches Philadelphia residents about the community development process, Zoning Code and related planning components.
The scholarships are valued at $100 and include the core courses and two electives. The scholarships will be awarded to 6th District residents who have been accepted into the program. Classes are Wednesday evenings from 6-9 p.m. (dinner is included).
Applications to CPI are available online here and via paper copy. Applications are due by March 22, 2017. Applications can be submitted via email (email@example.com), fax (215-683-4630 or 215-683-4675) or by mail (Donna Carney, Director, CPI, Philadelphia Planning Commission, 1515 Arch Street, 13th Floor, Philadelphia, PA, 19102).
Questions regarding the application process should be directed to CPI (CPI@phila.gov or 215-683-4648).
