Next week, the Office of Councilman Bobby Henon will host a diaper drive to benefit the Greater Philadelphia Diaper Bank. The Diaper Bank needs diapers of all sizes, newborn to adults, including pull ups, and will happily accept any brand.
Donations will be accepted Monday, October 3 through Friday, October 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at both of the offices of Councilman Henon: City Hall, Room 484 and the District Office, 6730 Torresdale Avenue.
The Greater Philadelphia Diaper Bank is a non-profit organization that works to support and strengthen the lives of families and individuals in need by providing free diapers to homeless shelters, food pantries, faith based organizations and social service agencies. The organization believes that every baby, child and adult deserves to be clean, dry and healthy.
This is an opportunity to help out those in need - please consider donating. If you have any questions, please contact Councilman Henon's office (215-686-9220) and ask for Emma.
