The Delaware River City Corporation, in conjunction with the Department of Parks and Recreation and other stakeholders, hosted its second public engagement meeting to discuss visioning for the upcoming Bridesburg Waterfront Park last night. The meeting was held at the American Legion (4404 Salmon Street).
As part of the Dietz and Watson expansion, Parks and Recreation acquired approximately 10-acres of land located at the end of Orthodox Street.
Locus Partners, a Philadelphia-based urban design, planning, and landscape architecture firm, conducted an initial public outreach meeting with the Bridesburg community.
The presentation from the meeting is available here. Please keep posted for future meetings and updates on waterfront development in Bridesburg!
