Philadelphia is a city of neighborhoods, and the 6th District is no different. Each one of the neighborhoods, from Tacony to Mayfair from Holmesburg to Bridesburg, from Wissinoming and Port Richmond and everywhere in between, features strong civic, recreational, religious and health supports. As Bobby works to make our neighborhoods clean and safe, he also has developed tools to encourage constituents to find out what makes up their neighborhoods with a few clicks of a mouse.
The Grassroots Toolkit is a map developed by Bobby's office that allows users in the 6th District to literally see what makes up their neighborhoods. They can determine their political ward and division, see which Registered Community Organizations represent them, which churches are near them and much more.
Looking for a bike path nearby? Offices for your elected officials? How about play and recreational areas Bobby's office has identified as part of the Philly Play initiative? They're all here - just use the following tools to navigate:
- Select or deselect layers from the drop-down menu on the top right of the map. Layers include streets, satellite (similar to what you'd find on Google Earth) as well as a layer showing boundaries for 6th District RCOs and political wards and divisions.).
- To zoom in or out, use the + or — at the top left.
