Introducing the CityHall App
Councilman Bobby Henon is committed to making City Government more accessible, more transparent, and more efficiently operated. That is why he created the CityHall App. This smartphone app is designed to provide residents, business owners, and visitors of Philadelphia access to many of the services offered at City Hall, right at their fingertips.
In version 1.0, users will be able to report problems in their neighborhood, like graffiti, potholes, absentee landlord or bad neighbor issues. Philadelphia Councilman Bobby Henon and his staff will handle each of these constituent service requests quickly and thoroughly. Users will be able to take a picture of a neighborhood issue, use GPS to identify the location of the issue, and add other important information about their specific case. Each case can be sent directly to Bobby’s office with the push of a button. Users can then track the progress of their cases, and the cases of others, right there inside the app.
Users will also be able to share their community improvement with their social networks by sending a tweet or updating their Facebook status within the app.
